Crothers Construction is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract for the delivery of Yanchep East Primary School, continuing our strong track record in the delivery of education infrastructure across Western Australia.
Scheduled to open in 2028, the new school will support the continued growth of Perth’s northern corridor, providing contemporary and inclusive learning environments for up to 600 students, including dedicated facilities for students participating in an Education Support Program.
The project will deliver a comprehensive new primary school campus, including:
- an administration building with an attached dental therapy unit;
- a seven-classroom early childhood teaching block and associated play spaces;
- a dedicated Education Support Centre incorporating classrooms, staff workspaces, therapy and sensory rooms;
- a double-storey teaching block comprising 14 general learning areas, four Education Support classrooms and specialist art and science spaces;
- a library and staff building;
- a covered assembly area incorporating a music room and canteen; and
- associated car parking, hardcourts and landscaping works.
The award builds on Crothers’ extensive experience delivering new schools, major additions and specialist education facilities throughout Western Australia. Our recent education portfolio includes projects at Brabham Primary School, Henley Brook Primary School, Rossmoyne Senior High School, Waggrakine Primary School and Ashdale Secondary College, together with our current delivery of Alkimos Northeast Primary School.
Crothers brings significant experience in coordinating complex education projects, with a strong focus on programme certainty, quality, safety and collaborative project delivery. The Yanchep East Primary School project also provides another opportunity to support local industry and create meaningful participation opportunities for the Western Australian construction supply chain.
