Crothers Construction have recently completed the upgrade and expansion of the Willetton Basketball Stadium.
The works included:
- the construction of a new four court stadium expansion adjoining and linked directly to the existing courts, incorporating a Show Court and including retractable seating to cater for 700 people.
- A full refurbishment and installation of new sports floor and services to the existing courts and construction of new office and recreational facilities.
The new recreational facilities include a café, 200 seat function room, offices, 5 meeting rooms, changing and bathroom facilities to cater for the new development.
Throughout the construction works Willetton Basketball Stadium remained fully operational with 4 basketball courts operating 24 hours a day. Works were carefully managed and planned to enable the Basketball Club to fully operate as the construction progressed.
